“A very refined, precise Argentine Cabernet with fantastic freshness, according to James Suckling!”

"Like most of Catena's Cabernet Sauvignons, the 2019 Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon is not a 100% varietal wine, but a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc, as Cabernet Sauvignon on its own is often not complex enough. The Cabernet Franc must have given it an extra boost, reinforcing the vintage’s already fresh character. The palate is medium-bodied, with abundant aromas of fresh herbs and very fine, varietal tannins.
