This cuvée is made from 100% Areni Noir, a native grape variety that has never been grafted, a true emblem of Armenian viticulture: this grape variety, cultivated for over 6,000 years, also comes from the same gorge where the world's oldest wine cellar was discovered (4,100 BC). The wine is also aged traditionally for 12 months in "Karas," amphorae typical of Armenia.

Nose

Concentrated and beautifully deep, it still offers aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, and black cherries—the familiar black berries of the Zorah estate—enriched by notes of dried violets and black pepper.

Mouth

Supple, with a velvety texture, concentrated and with great aromatic depth, it reveals the flavors encountered on the nose of black berries, sweet spices, and licorice, with a lovely length on a spicy and subtly peppery finish.
