This wine is made from 100% Areni Noir, an indigenous grape variety that has never been grafted and is a true symbol of Armenian viticulture: this variety, which has been cultivated for over 6,000 years, also originates from the same gorge where the world’s oldest winery (4100 BC) was discovered. This wine is also aged traditionally for 12 months in “Karas,” amphorae typical of Armenia.

Smooth, with a velvety texture, concentrated, and offering great aromatic depth; the flavors found on the nose—black berries, mild spices, and licorice—are present on the palate, with a lovely length and a spicy, subtly peppery finish.
