Zorah
The estate Zorah The 40-hectare estate is located in the Vayots Dzor region, at an elevation between 1,400 and 1,600 meters, in the foothills of Mount Ararat, and near the oldest wine cellar identified to date, dating back to 6,100 years before Christ.

It was in the heart of this well-known valley with great potential that Zorik Gharibian, an Armenian native of the region, decided in 2006 to found the Zorah winery, near the village of Rind. The Zorah vineyard is managed according to the principles of organic farming. It primarily highlights the native grape varieties of this cradle of winemaking—all ungrafted: Areni for red wines, Voskèak and Garandmak for white wines. In fact, the Vayots Dzor region has never been affected by phylloxera thanks to its poor, sandy, limestone soils, which allow for the planting of ungrafted vines.

Wine fermentation takes place using indigenous yeasts, and aging generally occurs in large vessels to allow for better integration of the oak, as well as in amphorae. This is a region with great potential, which Zorik Gharibian has successfully brought to life through Zorah.
