Parker Coonawarra Estate

Founded in 1985 by John and Faye Parker, Parker Coonawarra Estate islocated in the southern part of the Coonawarra region, on limestone soils covered with Terra Rossa and planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon.

In 2001, the winery and the tasting room were completed. An impressive structure built of Mont Gambier limestone and steel beams, this temperature-controlled facility stands amidst the vineyards and undeniably embodies John Parker’s approach to winemaking: a blend of modernity and tradition.

Now run by the Hesketh family, the founder’s commitment to excellence remains a top priority in the winemaking process at Parker Coonawarra Estate: identifying the grape varieties and clones best suited to the soil, and the finest vineyard plots, to capture the very essence of the region’s wines.
