Parker Coonawarra Estate

Founded in 1985 by John and Faye Parker, Parker Coonawarra Estate islocated in the south of the eponymous region, on limestone soils covered with Terra Rossa and planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon.

In 2001, the winery and sales cellar were completed. An astonishing construction made of Mount Gambier limestone and steel beams, the temperature-controlled structure stands among the vines and unmistakably represents John Parker's approach to viticulture: a combination of modernity and tradition.

Now managed by the Hesketh family, the founder's values of excellence remain a priority in the production of Parker Coonawarra Estate wines : finding the grape varieties and clones best suited to the soil, and the best plots to deliver the very essence of the region's wines.
