"A Grüner Veltliner of superb precision, where the citrus notes are enhanced by typical hints of white pepper!"

“A medium- to full-bodied wine, aged on the lees, which gives it texture, depth, and fullness on the palate. Crisp and balanced, with a subtle, lingering fruity note. Ready to drink now or suitable for aging.” (James Suckling 2026) • Remarkable finesse, freshness, and depth: all the vibrancy you’d expect from a Grüner Veltliner!

About the estate:

Austria’s Finest Wines: As the owner of a 40-hectare vineyard, Willi Bründlmayer ranks among the region’s leading producers in terms of both scale and quality. A highly promising winemaker, he had to take over the family estate when his father fell ill. Here, a rich tradition meets a wine intellectual with an open mind toward innovation and practices that respect nature. Renowned worldwide for his great Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners, Bründlmayer also produces a fine Champagne-style wine (Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) and several red wines. The Käferberg Grüner Veltliner is always the most powerful and generous wine, while the Alte Reben (old vines) Grüner Veltliner offers greater depth and concentration. The Lamm Grüner Veltliner displays beautifully ripe fruit and a noble structure. The Heiligenstein Alte Reben Riesling, the Kamptal’s flagship wine, boasts wonderful concentration. Rounding out the lineup of Rieslings, the Heiligenstein Lyra displays a beautiful mineral density. Other notable wines include the lovely Chardonnay and the Vincent 2000 blend (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt).
