RVF (G&M)

“An intense dark ruby color, with an intoxicating nose of rose essence. The wine is full-bodied with broad tannins. A distinguished cuvée on par with a cru—and at an exceptional price! ” (The 2015 Guide to Wine Bargains - RVF Gerbelle & Maurange). A very fresh wine with a pleasant nose, featuring lovely fruity notes of raspberry and strawberry. Excellent value for money!

A lovely Beaujolais Villages that’s well worth the price. I open this bottle with light meals when I can’t find the “perfect” pairing, and it usually works out… that’s the magic of Gamay!

Second bottle opened, and I'm still disappointed by the lack of character (not very fruity, no finish). Too bad

A wine that’s all about the fruit and doesn’t have much character...

A pleasant surprise for the price—a smooth, fruity wine with no harshness. My only regret is not buying more.
