"Complex and distinguished nose, with tobacco and dried fruit. Tight and concentrated on the palate, with a long, refined and well-balanced finish. ( Le Grand Guide des Vins de France 2011 - Bettane & Desseauve). More powerful than the Brouilly Loïs, the 2008 "Les Feuillées" cuvée is superbly successful with chewiness and a nice richness, and always that Laurent Martray signature that combines perfect balance with generosity!

Rated estate (2012 guide) 2 stars (Successful production)

About the estate:

"Laurent Martray is a promising young producer from Beaujolais. He is fortunate to cultivate his entire vineyard on the south-facing slope of Comillaty, with vines over 45 years old. With his mastery of winemaking, his wines are delicious, generous, and balanced. Beaujolais wines that are sparkling with life, crisp and invigoratingly fresh."
