"The Fleurie La Réserve 2012 is aged for 20 to 30% in oak. It offers clean aromas of redcurrant on the nose, which are just a little exclusive at the moment. The palate is well-defined and very juicy for the vintage. An easy-drinking pleasure, now and until 2016." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
Château de Poncié (Ponciago in Latin) is a historic property in the Fleurie appellation. Acquired in 2008 by the Henriot family (Champagnes Henriot, Bouchard Père et Fils, William Fèvre) after decades of poor viticultural practices, the task of reviving the soil across nearly 60 hectares of vineyards, all located around the château in the northern part of the appellation, is a mammoth one. Frédéric Weber and his teams are working diligently on this project, with results improving year after year.
Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
2-star rating (Successful production)
About the estate:
Villa Ponciago is believed to be the first known name of the estate, as mentioned in the charter of Cluny Abbey. The 19 hectares cultivated in the Fleurie appellation, spread over more than 200 plots, were taken over in 2008 by the Henriot family from Champagne, and the first vintage bottled was 2009—previously, the wines were sold in bulk. Beyond low yields and the search for maturity, Thomas Henriot strives for finesse and elegance, notably through measured pigeage and long fermentations.

Wine rated (2015 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Rated estate (2015 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About wine:
It benefits from the transfer of all the vintages not produced in the vintage. The flesh is complemented by a fine mineral texture specific to the terroir. It is fruity and delicious, well-made and pleasant to drink. Its elegance is a great success for the year.
About the estate:
This historic Fleurie estate, located in the northern part of the appellation, was taken over in 2008 by the Henriot family, who continue to give it the care and improvements it deserves. It undoubtedly boasts a beautiful 49-hectare vineyard, much of which is located on hillsides with steep slopes reaching up to 60%. The Hauts du Py plot is one of the highest points in the appellation (410 m). Three cuvées are produced: La Réserve (from a selection of the estate's best plots), Les Hauts du Py (high-altitude terroir) and La Roche Muriers (hillsides). The latest vintages demonstrate the progress made and reflect the estate's ambition. 2012 places it at the top and justifies the award of a well-deserved first star.
