"From a steep, south-facing vineyard planted with 70-year-old vines, this rich wine has great potential. The tannins support the black fruit and acidity. The wine will be at its best from 2022 onwards. (Wine Enthusiast 2021) Reflecting its blue rock-rich terroir , Les Mouilles is characterized by a mineral profile, with a powerful, structured palate. A beautiful personality.

About the estate:
Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Ch. de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Dom. des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (windmill). When he took over in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, then plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vines in six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.
