"A cuvée as beautiful as the 'Côte'!"

“A cuvée that earned a Favorite the 2020 vintage, for which Franck Chavy spoke of his quest for purity and clarity of fruit. He proves that his efforts are not in vain: this Morgon displays elegant notes of black fruit, accented with pepper and licorice, echoed by a long, balanced finish.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2025)

About the wine:

This cuvée was awarded a Favorite the 2020 vintage, and Franck Chavy used it to showcase his pursuit of purity and clarity in the fruit. He proves that his efforts are not in vain: this Morgon unfolds with elegant notes of black fruit, accented by pepper and licorice, which are echoed by a long, balanced finish.

About the estate:

The son and grandson of winemakers, Franck Chavy settled in 1991 on a few hectares of Morgon. Through purchases and sharecropping arrangements, he has expanded his estate, which now covers 9.5 hectares, while establishing himself in the Guide, where he is a sure bet. This success is undoubtedly due in part to high-density planting (10,000 vines per hectare) and extended maceration.
