Le Puy Castle
Château Le Puy is located in the Libourne region, between the villages of Francs and Pusseguin, on one of the most prestigious limestone plateaus with asterias on the right bank. This commanding position gave it its name during the Roman era; “Le Puy” means “a high place” or “a mountain peak.”

This estate has been owned by the Amoreau family for 15 generations, a family that has upheld a deep respect for life through a natural, chemical-free approach since 1610. Today, Château Le Puy, certified in organic and biodynamic farming, stands as a model in the Bordeaux wine region.

Through its various cuvées—Emilien, Barthélemy, and Retour des îles— Château Le Puy showcases an exceptional style. Its unique wines are infused rather than extracted, as is customary, to achieve even greater softness and finesse. They can be enjoyed in their youth, while also possessing excellent aging potential.
