Château Climens

Château Climens is arguably the finest example of the Barsac appellation! Its vineyards are situated on red soil dotted with pebbles, consisting of a thin layer of clayey, iron-rich sand. In 1855, Château Climens earned the well-deserved distinction of Premier Cru. Since 1992, the future of Château Climens has been in the hands of the Lurton family, which undoubtedly ensures the best possible care for the Château Climens vineyard.

Château Climens is a Premier Cru of the prestigious Barsac AOC, characterized by great consistency and unwavering rigor both in the vineyard and in the cellar.  Made exclusively from Sémillon, Château Climens is a wine of extreme grace rarely found even in the finest terroirs, no doubt thanks to the experience and meticulous care given to the vines. Château Climens is a wine with a very strong and captivating personality.
