Château Climens

Château Climens is probably the finest representative of the Barsac appellation! Its vineyard is planted on red soil dotted with pebbles and consisting of a thin layer of clayey, ferruginous sand. In 1855, Château Climens was awarded the well-deserved distinction of Premier Cru. Since 1992, the destiny of Château Climens has been in the hands of the Lurton family, which undoubtedly guarantees the best for the Château Climens vineyard.

Château Climens is a prestigious Premier Cru from the Barsac AOC, characterized by great consistency and unfailing rigor both in the vineyard and in the cellar.  Made exclusively from Sémillon, Château Climens wine has an extreme grace that is rarely found, even in the best terroirs, undoubtedly thanks to the experience and special care given to the vines. Château Climens is a wine with a very strong and captivating personality.
