Château Haut-Canteloup

Château Haut-Canteloup is located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, opposite the Médoc, in the Premières Côtes de Blaye (50 km north of Bordeaux), and its 44 hectares of vineyards stretch across the small commune of Fours, not far from the magnificent little Vauban town of Blaye. Château Haut-Canteloup is a family-run estate that has been the pride of the Bordenave family for four generations now. The family also owns Châteaules Pierrères in the Blaye AOC

With an intense passion for viticulture, it is only natural that the new generation is moving towards sustainable farming practices. For more than ten years now, the Château Haut-Canteloup vineyard has been grassed, organic amendments have replaced chemical fertilizers, and phytosanitary interventions are only carried out when absolutely necessary. Combining tradition and modernity is the Bordenave family's philosophy. Today, with Alexandre and his brother Vincent, the fourth generation at the helm of the estate, everything is still done to ensure that customers receive quality wines, the result of genuine passion, family expertise, and respect for the environment and people. Château Haut-Canteloup produces red, white, and rosé wines in the Premières Côtes de Blaye appellation from different terroirs, a diversity that allows for wines with distinct characters. They thus offer great richness and refinement.
