Château Les Tours de Peyrat

Château Les Tours de Peyrat boasts a contiguous 15-hectare vineyard, whose roots lie in the town of Saint-Paul-de-Blaye in the Bordeaux region, and which is the result of four generations of hard work. The Château Les Tours de Peyrat estate, long owned by the Tanet family, might have left the family due to a lack of heirs had Christelle not taken it over in 1997. The production of Château Les Tours de Peyrat wine in the AOC Côtes de Blaye thus continues thanks to her care.

Upon her arrival, she sought to give Château Les Tours de Peyrat a new direction aligned with her own concerns as a mother regarding food products and the environment. Because she is committed to playing an active role in the production of quality wine, she has adapted techniques she considers necessary to the Château Les Tours de Peyrat vineyard, notably manual suckering and debudding, leaf removal, and thinning to reduce yields and concentrate the grape’s components. Concerned about the legacy she will leave her children and in response to consumers’ growing environmental concerns in recent years, Christelle has entered into a CTE (Territorial Farming Contract) with the government, thereby committing herself to ensuring that every farming practice prioritizes quality, the environment, and employment.
