“A particularly delicious, easy-drinking wine!”
"This beautiful Merlot-dominated red wine reveals itself with complexity and finesse. The ripe fruit, the hint of cocoa and toasted notes from barrel aging, the full-bodied palate, the fine, silky tannins, and the long, refined finish come together to create a devilishly delicious wine. It is a fine bottle, fairly full-bodied, well-integrated with oak, and destined to age in the cellar for a few years. It will then be a delight to open with a nice ribeye steak or a roast pigeon.” (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

About the estate:
Château les Tours de Peyrat is a 16-hectare family-owned estate (certified organic) planted on the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Paul-de-Blaye, managed by Christelle Sauboua since 2000. It is part of the Cars cooperative (founded in 1937), renamed “Châteaux solidaires” in 2011, which vinifies the harvests of about ten member châteaux—selected with great care—separately.
