Domaine de Cambes

This terroir belongs to Château Roc de Cambes and borders the Gironde estuary, which flows along the hillsides. These are therefore hillside vineyards, renowned for producing great Bordeaux wines. However, at the Cambes estate, the influence of the Gironde moderates the climate and adds its silt. Analysis shows that the soil is clay-limestone, basic, allowing for a long growing cycle (the soil retains coolness), so the wine produced is rather powerful and harvested late.
