Château Coursou
Château Coursou is owned by Hélène Dupas, a winemakerin the Bordeaux Supérieur AOC appellation who produces the estate’s red, white, and rosé wines using organic methods. The Château Coursou vineyard spans 25 hectares and produces small quantities of red and white wines on clay-limestone soil. The red wine blend consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, each accounting for one-third of the blend.
Located on a plateau overlooking the Dordogne Valley, near Bordeaux, the Château Coursou vineyard is cultivated above all in a healthy manner, without herbicides, insecticides, or chemical fertilizers, in accordance with organic farming standards ( ECOCERT certification). Thus, the land is maintained, plowed, and cultivated naturally, respecting the biology of the soil. The winemaking and bottling of Château Coursou wines are carried out on-site with the utmost care.
