"Excellent value for money, inspired by the great white wines of Sancerre. Discover three limited-edition 'Echappées sur le Bassin' labels!"

“The Blanc N°1 2024 is delicate, textured, and caressing. Candied citrus, white flowers, marzipan, chamomile, and mandarin essential oil blend harmoniously in this dry white wine with a lovely finish. ” (Vinous 2025) - Precise and refined, the N°1 Sauvignon Blanc perfectly expresses the elegant minerality of its limestone terroir. In each case of 6 bottles, you will find 3 different labels designed by watercolorist Jean-François Dareths. They feature iconic landmarks of the Bordeaux region: the Dune du Pyla, a traditional Pinasse boat, and a fishing village on the Cap Ferret Peninsula.

Review by Mr. GILLES D. Published on September 3, 2025

Dense, lively, and taut with a certain acidity, the palate is very expressive, releasing lovely notes of citrus and white fruit with a coating of richness. A refreshing, more mineral-driven finish. The value for money remains as appealing as ever. Tasted today for its liveliness with tempura-fried langoustine tails in sweet-and-sour sauce. Rating = 3.9.
