"Excellent value for money, inspired by the great whites of Sancerre. Discover three limited edition "Echappées sur le Bassin" labels!"
"Le Blanc N°1 2024 is delicate, textured, and caressing. Candied citrus fruits, white flowers, marzipan, chamomile, and mandarin essential oil blend harmoniously in this dry white wine with beautiful persistence. (Vinous 2025) - Precise and finely crafted, N°1 Sauvignon Blanc perfectly expresses the elegant minerality of its limestone terroir. Each case of six bottles contains three different labels designed by watercolorist Jean-François Dareths. They feature iconic locations in the Bordeaux region: the Dune du Pyla, a traditional Pinasse boat, and a fishing village on the Cap Ferret peninsula.

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2018 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Through its flagship vintages such as No. 1, or the châteaux it brings to the top of their appellation, Dourthe is a house with a confident signature.

Wine rated (2025 guide) 89/100
About wine:
Green peas, asparagus, green apple. Crisp and fruity, apple and pear with hints of peach. A remarkable wine with a touch of sweetness, a little creaminess and bitterness. A beautiful combination: sappy and so easy to drink! Excellent value for money. 2025-2028

Simple stone fruits and light guava. Lively acidity, which becomes slightly tart and demanding. Medium intensity and a clean, concise finish. Drink now.
Yves Beck
Wine rated (2025 guide) 90/100
About wine:
The bouquet of Dourthe N°1 is very fresh, with notes of lime, rhubarb, and raspberries. Salty on the attack, the wine is juicy and energized by the incisive character of its acidic structure. A thirst-quenching, inviting, and persistent wine! Now – 2029

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 09/03/2025
Dense, lively and taut with a certain acidity, the palate is very expressive, releasing lovely citrus and white fruit flavors with a rich, enveloping background. Refreshing, more mineral finish. Still excellent value for money. Tasted today for its liveliness with tempura langoustine tails in sweet and sour sauce. Rating = 3.9.
