"New: 100% Sauvignon Blanc!"
“ “Complex and subtle, the bouquet of Pierre Blanche heralds an authentic wine with a focus on finesse. In addition to delicate floral nuances, the bouquet reveals notes of lemongrass and fresh bread. Slightly briny on the attack, the wine is perfectly supported by its structure, while subtle bitter notes underpin the finish and its length. A savory and compelling wine!” (Yves Beck 2023)

For the past five years, this Entre-Deux-Mers appellation has been winning over wine lovers with its full-bodied wines, featuring expressive fruitiness that blends beautifully with toasty oak notes.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
Starting with his family’s vineyard on the right bank in Vérac, near Fronsac, Hervé Lhuillier has established a true premium Bordeaux brand, built on the foundations of depth, authenticity, and carefully crafted oak aging. New vines of Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, planted on exposed limestone (the quarries are open to visitors), will soon begin production. While the density-sorting machine brought greater precision to the 2018 vintage, we remain unsatisfied with the somewhat exaggerated extraction and aging. Let’s give the wines time to settle before considering removing the star.

Review by Mr. Gilles D. Published on September 3, 2024
Here is a lovely white Bordeaux that has plenty to offer, both on the nose and on the palate. It opens with a clean, lively attack, and on the palate it is vibrant, elegant, and incredibly fresh, with a full-bodied texture and just enough richness to provide a pleasant, silky texture that envelops highly expressive aromas of citrus and white flowers, framed by a vibrant mineral backbone. A mouth-watering finish with salty and subtly bitter notes. The wine is harmonious and well-structured, all at a very attractive price. In short, it’s the perfect choice to pair with local Noirmoutier specialties, such as bouquets of pink shrimp in salted butter, followed by sole meunière. Rating = 4.
