Château Haut Nivelle
Château Haut Nivelle is part of the Le Pottier vineyards. This family, with roots in Brittany and the Netherlands, settled on the barren property in 1979, and after careful consideration, the first grapevines were planted on the hillsides beginning in 1986. Today, Château Haut Nivelle has regained its balance and efficiency to offer you the very best of its wines.

The vineyards of Château Haut Nivelle, covering 31.5 hectares, are situated on clay-siliceous and loamy slopes in eastern Gironde, 55 kilometers from Bordeaux, on the edge of the Saint-Émilion appellation. Vinification takes place in a modern winery equipped with stainless steel tanks and temperature control. Fermentation lasts 3 to 5 weeks with the use of micro-oxygenation, aiming to impart suppleness and roundness to the wines. The Prestige cuvée is aged in oak barrels for one year.
