Château La Verrière

Château La Verrière is owned by the Bessette family, who, beginning in the 1960s, breathed new life into the estate’s quality standards. Today, Château La Verrière spans some 60 hectares and is managed by Alain Bessette, who upholds the family’s values through vineyard management practices that combine high-quality production with respect for the environment and the terroir.

The Château La Verrière vineyard is managed using sustainable practices. Throughout the growing season, phytosanitary treatments are applied. Products are selected for their environmental friendliness and their ability to preserve beneficial wildlife (insects or mites that naturally regulate the populations of other insects or mites that are pests to the vines). This approach allows us to adapt as effectively as possible to each vintage and thus produce ripe, concentrated grapes year after year. The AOC Bordeaux Supérieur wine is the result of meticulous and sustainable work aimed at capturing only the best of the terroir and our grape varieties. Mastery of winemaking using traditional methods preserves a beautiful balance on both the nose and palate—a hallmark of Château La Verrière’s reputation.
