Château La Verrière

Château La Verrière is owned by the Bessette family, who, beginning in the 1960s, breathed new life into its commitment to quality. Today, Château La Verrière spans some sixty hectares and is managed by Alain Bessette, who upholds the family’s values through vineyard management that combines quality production with respect for the environment and the terroir.

The vineyards at Château La Verrière are managed using sustainable practices. Throughout the season, phytosanitary treatments are applied. Products are selected for their environmental friendliness and their ability to preserve beneficial fauna (insects or mites that naturally regulate populations of other insects or mites harmful to the vines). This approach allows us to adapt optimally to each vintage and thus produce ripe, concentrated grapes every year. The AOC Bordeaux Supérieur wine is the result of meticulous and sustainable work aimed at capturing only the best of the terroir and our grape varieties. Mastery of winemaking using traditional methods preserves a beautiful balance on both the nose and palate, which is the hallmark of Château La Verrière’s reputation.
