Château Mont-Pérat
In 1998, the Despagne family acquired Château Mont-Pérat, a 100-hectare estate in a single block. Thibault Despagne is committed to developing biodiversity within the estate by planting numerous shrubs. This initiative allows wildlife to thrive in the heart of the vineyards, thereby reducing the need for treatments.
The wines of Château Mont-Pérat are classified as Bordeaux appellation wines. The same care is taken during production as for the other properties owned by the Despagne family (Château Tour de Mirambeau, Château Rauzan Despagne, and Château Bel Air - Peroncher). A modern yet traditional approach is taken to showcase the often underappreciated terroirs of the Entre-Deux-Mers region.
