Mouton Cadet

Mouton Cadet is a Bordeaux wine brand founded in 1930 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild. Baron Philippe, the youngest son of his family and owner of the Mouton Rothschild estate, naturally named his brandMouton Cadet. 

Mouton Cadet offers a diverse range of red, white, and rosé wines. The vintages are crafted from traditional grape varieties of the Bordeaux region, such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc. Mouton Cadet’s goal is to reveal the essence of the Bordeaux terroir through 10 different appellations.

With no fewer than 1,500 hectares of vineyards, the Mouton Cadet estate is certified High Environmental Value (HVE) Level 3 and collaborates with 150 winegrowers (representing 1% of the Bordeaux vineyard).

In addition to its traditional wines, Mouton Cadet regularly innovates with special editions and unique collaborations, establishing itself as one of the ambassadors of the Bordeaux region.
