A modest price for a Bordeaux that is also fairly light in structure and body despite its 14% alcohol content, and ultimately rather light in intensity and aromatic richness. A smooth, fresh texture with notes of macerated and spicy dark fruit, slightly silky, supported by subtle aging—though at the expense of depth and longevity. In short, a generally decent and approachable Bordeaux that’s easy to drink and pairs well with everyday meals. Rating = 3.5.
