Sichel House
Of British origin, the Sichel family settles in Bordeaux in 1883 to establish his wine trading business there.

Beyond their role as wine merchants, the Sichel family has for several generations been committed to mastering and controlling their wines, from production to marketing. By becoming owners of Château Palmer in 1938, then Château Angludet in 1961, Château Trillol in 1990, and finally Château Argadens in 2002, the Sichels have acquired the know-how, expertise, and "culture" of viticulture that are essential to this profession.
As consummate winemakers, the members of the Sichel family allow the personality of each château, and thus each wine, to shine through.

Over the years, significant investments have been made in the Sichelproperties torestructure the vineyard and improve the cellar, notably by modernizing the winemaking facilities and creating new aging cellars. As a result, through meticulous care and precision, the AOP Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur, Margaux, and Corbières vintages express the quality of the terroir to the fullest. Every year, the wines receive numerous awards, marking the clear desire to establish Château Argadens among the best wines in its Bordeaux Supérieur category. In line with its values and with a view to respecting the environment, Château Argadens has opted for sustainable agriculture and was one of the very first Bordeaux estates to be ISO 14001 certified in 2011 and HVE 3 certified in 2014.
