Château Thieuley

Château Thieuley marks the beginning of Vignobles Famille Courselle, following its acquisition in 1950 by André Courselle. Over the course of 30 years, the vineyard area expanded from 4 to 80 hectares, currently spread across three estates: Château Thieuley, Clos Saint Anne, and Château Saint Genès. The vineyard is now managed by Sylvie and Marie Courselle, engineers and oenologists.

At Thieuley, we are constantly experimenting: techniques that undeniably offer an “added value” are tested and refined. The watchword: product quality. Every task in the vineyard, from the most basic to the most complex, is carried out with rigor—the only guarantee of impeccable raw material. Thanks to this commitment to quality in both the vineyard and the cellar, Château Thieuley has been one of the jewels of the Bordeaux appellation for nearly 30 years. Since the 2017 vintage, Château Thieuley has been Terra Vitis certified, affirming its commitment to sustainable development. Château Thieuley has been certified by Terra Vitis (sustainable viticulture) since 2017 and High Environmental Value since 2019, and is currently in the process of obtaining Bee Friendly certification.
