Château Vieux Manoir

Château Vieux Manoir is located in Targon, 35 km southeast of Bordeaux. This magnificent 11th-century estate, with a rich history in winemaking, is now owned by the Ballande Group, which, upon acquiring it in 1989, launched a major campaign to restore the production facilities and expand the vineyard.

The Château Vieux Manoir vineyard currently spans 45 hectares of vines located in the communes of Targon, Lugasson, and Saint-Aubin. The terroir consists of clay-limestone soils and clay-rich gravel. The traditional Bordeaux grape varieties are represented here: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Château Vieux Manoir practices traditional, meticulous viticulture aimed at achieving optimal grape quality, and applies expertise in the cellar to produce a high-quality wine.

The wines of Château Vieux Manoir are deeply authentic and truly reflect their terroir.
