Château Vieux Manoir
Château Vieux Manoir is located in Targon, 35 km southeast of Bordeaux. This magnificent 11th-century estate, with a rich history in winemaking, is now owned by the Ballande Group, which, upon acquiring it in 1989, launched a major campaign to restore the production facilities and expand the vineyard.
The Château Vieux Manoir vineyard currently comprises 45 hectares of vines located in the municipalities of Targon, Lugasson, and Saint-Aubin. The terroir consists of clay-limestone soils and clay-rich gravel. The traditional Bordeaux grape varieties are grown here: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Château Vieux Manoir practices traditional, meticulous viticulture aimed at producing grapes of the highest quality, and applies expert winemaking techniques in the cellar to produce a wine of exceptional quality.
Château Vieux Manoir wines are highly authentic and truly expressive of their terroir.
