Nestled in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux wine region, Château d'Aiguilhe covers a vast 140-hectare estate, 90 hectares of which are dedicated to vineyards. This former 13th-century farm was acquired in 1998 by Stephan Von Neipperg, who also owns other Bordeaux properties such as Château Canon La Gaffelière, La Mondotte, Clos de l'Oratoire, Château Peyreau, and others.
Château d'Aiguilhe is the leading figure in the appellation, producing an irresistible, deep and vigorous style of wine. The vineyard's terroir consists of clay-limestone and clay-loam soils, located on the Saint-Philippe-d'Aiguilhe plateau, which benefits from a southern exposure and excellent sunshine.
