Château Cafol

Château Cafol is located in the heart of the Libournais region, a terroir that is home to Bordeaux’s greatest wines: Côtes-de-Castillon, Saint-Émilion, Pomerol, and Fronsac. The wines of Château Cafol are produced under the Côtes-de-Castillon appellation.

The Château Cafol estate consists of a vineyard spanning 35 hectares of gravelly and clay-limestone soil. The grape varieties are 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet. These vines and this terroir produce an elegant wine with a garnet-purple color and a deep bouquet exuding aromas of spices and wild berries. Vinified in accordance with tradition and aged in barrels, Château Cafol’s wine is characterized by lively, refined tannins and is defined as a racy, structured Bordeaux wine.
