Joanin Bécot Castle
In 1969, Michel Bécot acquired the renowned Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé. So in 2010, drawing on this family passion for wine, his son Gérard Bécot and his granddaughter Juliette Bécot joined forces to become the owners of Château Joanin Bécot and embarked on the exciting adventure of creating their own wine, a father-daughter collaboration.

This estate spans 12 hectares of vineyards in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, with a grape variety mix of approximately 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. A worthy representative of a typical Bordeaux wine, and situated at the gateway to the magnificent terroir of Saint-Émilion, Château Joanin Bécot benefits from clay-limestone soil, producing a round wine with fine tannins and incredible freshness. Family expertise and passion blend with a terroir of exceptional quality.
