Domaine de L'A

Domaine de l'A, located in the Bordeaux region, has been owned by renowned winemaking consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt and his wife since the 1990s. Stéphane Derenoncourt’s expertise and philosophy have enabled the Domaine de l’A vineyard to produce a truly great Côtes-de-Castillon wine.

The Domaine de l’A comprises 8 hectares of vineyards planted on limestone and clay-limestone soil. The terroir is cultivated biodynamically, with Stéphane Derenoncourt devoting the same care to the vineyard and the winemaking process as he does to the estates for which he serves as a consultant. The wines are blended from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The result lives up to the expectations of the wine lover. The wines of Domaine de l'A reflect the terroir: elegant, intense, and deep. The precision of Stéphane Derenoncourt’s work has elevated Domaine de l'A to an undisputed benchmark of the Côtes-de-Castillon appellation.
