Domaine de L'A

Domaine de l'A, located in the Bordeaux region, has been owned by renowned winemaking consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt and his wife since the 1990s. Stéphane Derenoncourt’s scientific expertise and philosophy have made it possible to produce a truly great Côtes-de-Castillon wine from the Domaine de l’A vineyard.

The Domaine de l’A comprises 8 hectares of vineyards planted on limestone and clay-limestone soil. The vineyard is cultivated using biodynamic methods, with Stéphane Derenoncourt devoting the same care to the vines and the winemaking process as he does to the estates for which he serves as a consultant. The wines are blended from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The result lives up to the expectations of wine connoisseurs. The wines of Domaine de l’A reflect the terroir: elegant, intense, and deep. The precision of Stéphane Derenoncourt’s work has elevated Domaine de l’A to the status of an undisputed benchmark within the Côtes-de-Castillon appellation.
