Following in the footsteps of the 2020 and 2021 vintages, the 2022 vintage stands out as THE atypical white wine of Bordeaux, thanks to its original blend of Sémillon and Colombard. A true " Favorite " for the team, its aging in oak barrels imparts subtle, well-integrated, slightly buttery oak aromas, paired with notes of lemon zest, grapefruit, and acacia blossom. About the estate:

Perched on the hills above Bourg, this estate has been in the family for over a century. It is dominated by a small 15th-century castle, renovated in the 19th century, featuring pepper-pot towers. Valérie and Philippe Bassereau took over the estate in 1990. The vineyard’s size (45 ha) allows them to produce wines that are by no means niche.
