Château Fage

Château Fage overlooks the Souloire Valley along the banks of the Dordogne River and spans 45 hectares of vineyards, forests, and meadows. Since its acquisition by Yves Glotin in 2015, a program to replant the vineyard, a sustainable agriculture policy, and an upgrade of technical equipment have been implemented. These improvements enable Château Fage to produce delicious wines under the Graves de Vayres appellation. Its 2022 vintage was even described by the Guide Hachette as a "masterful wine." The wine’s style focuses on both roundness and fruitiness thanks to its dominant blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is also complex due to the presence of Petit Verdot and Malbec, which contribute intense notes of licorice. It displays finesse on the palate and a long finish. It is an elegant wine with lovely potential.
