Château de Cérons
Château de Cérons is housed in a 17th-century wine-producing charterhouse situated on a terrace overlooking the Garonne River in the heart of the village of Cérons.
Xavier and Caroline Perromat took over management of the family estate in 2012. Since then, a series of projects have been undertaken, including the replanting of vineyard plots, the renovation of the cellars—notably the concrete gravity-fed cellar—and the opening of Château de Cérons to visitors. The entire estate team is committed to continually raising the bar for the quality of their work and the wines produced in one of Bordeaux’s most intimate and historic appellations, Cérons.
The Château de Cérons vineyard consists of 30 hectares planted on the gravel plateau with limestone subsoil that overlooks the town. This terroir, with its unique soil and climate, offers the privilege of producing wines in three styles: red Graves, dry white Graves, and Cérons, the “Gold Wines of Bordeaux.”
Asthe emblem of the sweet wines of the Cérons appellation, Château de Cérons passionately champions this lesser-known appellation—the smallest in the Gironde region—which is highly prized by wine enthusiasts.
