"In contrast to the intensity of the color—which is still young, with purplish highlights—the bouquet is fairly subtle, yet it offers a good balance between red fruit and wood (spices). Supple on the palate, the wine shows promise for aging thanks to its tannic structure." (Guide Hachette des Vins - 2020 Edition)

James Suckling
Wine rated (2019 guide) 91/100
About the wine:
Alluring ripe black berries with rich, toasty spice notes that lead to a very full-bodied and succulent palate, carrying a long, smooth, and supple array of bright, robust tannins. Long and velvety.
Yves Beck
Wine rated (2018 guide) 88/100
About the wine:
Garnet red. A bouquet of good intensity with a pleasant freshness. Smoky and fruity notes. Well-balanced on the palate. The wine is juicy, delicious, and has a lively, refreshing structure. The tannins remain in the background but are solid. A wine that will gain suppleness over time and shows great promise. Fruity finish.

Holds up very well in 2017. Red fruit notes and a hint of smokiness. A wine to keep in your cellar.
