Château Les Clauzots
Château Les Clauzots belongs to the Tach family, who have been winemakers from father to son for nearly a century. Today, Frédéric Tach is the custodian of this family heritage. Located in the small town of Saint-Pierre de Mons, 40 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux, the Château Les Clauzots vineyard is part of the Graves AOC—the oldest vineyard in Bordeaux and the only appellation in France to bear the name of its soil.
The Château Les Clauzots estate comprises 14 hectares of red grape vines and 6 hectares of white grape vines, with an average age of 30 years, planted on a plateau overlooking the Garonne River with a gentle south-to-north slope. Whether white or red, the wines of Château Les Clauzots are subtle and complex and will satisfy even the most discerning connoisseurs.
