Camensac Castle
Château Camensac, owned by the Forner family, produces a Grand Cru Classé within the Haut-Médoc appellation. The Château Camensac vineyard is located on the edge of the Saint-Julien appellation, within the commune of Saint-Laurent-du-Médoc, on what is undoubtedly the most beautiful hillside in the commune: steep slopes with deep gravel soils.

The Château Camensac vineyard ( 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot) naturally yields a moderate harvest. A policy of minimal fertilization—using strictly organic materials—and short pruning, supplemented later by thinning if necessary, reinforce this natural tendency. The winemaking process for Château Camensac’s AOC Haut-Médoc Grand Cru Classé follows the most authentic traditions to produce a wine with a distinct personality that is both elegant and harmonious.
