Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2022 guide) 89/100 (Very good wine)
Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker—The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
Citran 2019 shows itself well in the bottle, revealing aromas of blackcurrant, red plums, and subtle notes of soft earth. Medium-bodied, lively, and understated, with powdery tannins and crisp acidity, it concludes with a firm, youthful finish. Although it is not the most expressive 2019 Bordeaux, it will reward bottle aging to develop a classic medium body. (William Kelley)

Vinous
Wine rated (2022 guide) 90/100
About the wine:
Château Citran 2019 has developed well during aging. Delicious notes of red cherry, mint, tobacco, licorice, rose petals, cinnamon, and dried herbs enhance this expressive Haut-Médoc. Notes of cedar, menthol, and spices linger. The 2019 is a bit rustic, but it offers plenty of character. (Antonio Galloni)
James Suckling
Wine rated (2022 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
Notes of blackcurrant and blackberry with hints of clove, licorice, tobacco, and hazelnut. It has a medium body and ripe, velvety tannins. Juicy and round with a fruity finish. Citran 2019 needs two or three years to soften and open up.

Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2020 guide) 90-91/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The nose is elegant and has a fine texture. It features notes of juicy strawberry, crushed boysenberry, and, more subtly, fleshy black berries, combined with delicate hints of blueberry, zan, and chocolate, as well as very subtle hints of morello cherry and vanilla. On the palate, it is mineral, fruity, and balanced, with a delicate, tangy structure, smoothness, precision, and a fine texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plump and juicy boysenberry, plump blackcurrant, and, to a lesser extent, raspberry, combined with subtle hints of violet and blueberry, as well as discreet hints of zan, tonka bean, and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut and vanilla. Good length. The tannins are precise and refined.
Anthocyanes - Yohan Castaing
Wine rated 91/100
About the wine:
Dark fruits with a hint of spice create a full-bodied bouquet that reveals notes of graphite upon aeration. On the palate, it is moderately dense, with firm, structuring tannins and a finish with a touch of graphite. A beautifully balanced wine in a vintage that suits it particularly well.
