Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Rated wine (2019 guide) 88–90/100 (Excellent wine)
Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
With a deep garnet-purple color, the 2018 Citran is a bit reserved at first but quickly opens up to reveal lovely notes of warm raspberries, fresh blackcurrants, and kirsch, with hints of potpourri, a box of chocolates, and crushed stone. Full-bodied and fantastically fresh, it reveals intense layers of red and black fruits, with a firm, grainy structure and a long, fragrant finish. Lovely!

Wine rated (2021 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
This textured, fruity wine is supported by its tannins. Its structure is a key component of the wine’s potential, balancing appealing blackcurrant flavors with a dry core. The wine needs time to age, so it should be enjoyed starting in 2025.

Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2021 guide) 89-90/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The nose is elegant and aromatic, offering richness, finesse, and good definition. It features notes of juicy blackberry and raspberry, along with more subtle hints of Bourbon vanilla bean, combined with touches of lily and crushed strawberry, as well as hints of fresh hazelnut and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and mineral, offering a certain tension, juiciness, and a delicate crispness from the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, fresh/juicy cherry, and, more subtly, juicy/fresh blackcurrant, combined with a touch of fresh violet, crisp strawberry, as well as subtle hints of vanilla, toast, and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The tannins are well-integrated. A delicate savory quality lingers on the finish.
