Rating: Bettane & Desseauve 15/20, Décanter 3***, Selected Hachette Guide
“Very expressive, this 2006 displays a wide range of aromas, from red fruits to spices, and leaves a fresh impression on the nose. The tannins and oak are present but well-integrated. Silky and structured, this Haut-Médoc pairs beautifully with lamb—from Pauillac, of course” (Guide Hachette des Vins 2010). Currently owned by the proprietors of Château Talbot, the wines produced here are superb, combining character, balance, and excellent value for money.
