Château Sénéjac
Château Sénéjac has undergone a revitalization aimed at elevating its vineyards to the level of the finest Médoc wines since its acquisition in 1999 by Lorraine Cordier, who also owns Château Talbot, a Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé. The vineyards of Château Sénéjac stretch across a plateau overlooking the town of Le Pian. The 37 hectares of contiguous vineyards are planted on deep gravel soils typical of the Médoc.
Château Sénéjac produces a Cru Bourgeois within the Haut-Médoc AOC, in the Bordeaux region, characterized by a deep, almost black color, a very expressive nose, and a palate with great depth and intensity. Château Sénéjac’s wine is a charming and distinguished Haut-Médoc, best enjoyed young to appreciate its fullness and fruitiness, or even better, allowed to age gently to reveal the true character of its terroir.
