Château Sénilhac
Château Sénilhac is run by Loïs and Jean-Luc Grassin, who carry on the work of their father, Michel Grassin. The 20-hectare vineyard, comprising a single contiguous plot, is situated on a clay-limestone terroir in the Bordeaux region. This terroir contains significant underground water reserves—a valuable asset during dry years—which lend Château Sénilhac’s wine harmony and richness. The combination of terroir and grape varieties makes Château Sénilhac a round, supple, sap-filled, and full-bodied Haut-Médoc wine. The Château Sénilhac vineyard produces approximately 130,000 bottles. Vinification is carried out with care and attention in a modern winery, respecting traditional expertise. The wine from Château Sénilhac is then aged in oak barrels, carefully selected and arranged in an aging cellar.
