This is a fine example of a Lalande-de-Pomerol wine, fruity and slightly oaky, with a very pleasant toasty note. The attack on the palate is silky and delicate, well balanced with a lovely hint of red fruit and an elegant finish with a fruity character. Perfect with Bordeaux-style cep mushrooms, but also a nice piece of red meat...
