Château La Croix de Bourseau 2011 - Vieilles vignes
Cité
Hachette
"A wine with good concentration inherited from old vines, which is immediately apparent in a deep bouquet of ripe grapes underscored by mellow oak. The palate is equally full-bodied, smooth, and powerful. Still austere on the finish, it will benefit from aging." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2015)

About wine:
Véronique Gaboriaud-Bernard has been running this 10-hectare vineyard since 1976. Acquired by her family in 1962, it has become one of the leading names in Lalande. The family's other estate, Château Matras, a Saint-Émilion grand cru, was sold to Canon in 2011.
A wine with good concentration inherited from old vines, which is immediately apparent in a deep bouquet of ripe grapes underscored by mellow oak. The palate is equally fleshy, smooth, and powerful. Still austere on the finish, it will benefit from aging.
