About the wine:

Powerful, concentrated, velvety, and well-rounded, this exquisite classic from the region offers beautiful aromatic complexity centered on red fruits, spices, and licorice, all supported by smooth, silky tannins. About the estate:

Coming from a long line of winemakers, Jean-Paul Garde managed the family vineyards (now about 30 hectares) between 1974 and 2014, which are spread across three Libourne appellations: Lalande, Montagne, and Pomerol. His children have since taken over the reins of the estate, which is HVE-certified.
