Château Fourcas Hosten

Château Fourcas Hosten is an estate located in Listrac-Médoc, nestled in the heart of a magnificent 3-hectare park. In 1810, Mr. Hosten sold the vineyard to the de Saint-Affrique family, who, by establishing Château Fourcas Hosten, brought it international renown. Then, in 2006, brothers Renaud and Laurent Momméja acquired the estate with the ambition of reviving this beautiful, two-century-old property: "We had a real Favorite this property and its great wine, and that is why we wanted to write a new chapter in our family’s history with Château Fourcas Hosten." 

With this in mind, they launched a major renovation project: a new fermentation facility that combines three materials (concrete, wood, and stainless steel), new cellars, and a comprehensive restructuring of the vineyard. The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, the harvest is partly done by hand, and the winemaking process follows the finest Bordeaux traditions.
