“Aromas of plum and leather, with a signature note of very ripe Cabernet. A round, smooth attack with lovely ripeness; an airy, lingering body, framed by tannins that are fairly fine yet distinctly present. The overall impression is slightly toasty. ” (Terre de Vins 2020) - Delivery in a wooden case is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected)

Wine rated (2020 guide) 93/100

Rated estate (2017 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About wine:

The most well-balanced wine in terms of body, bouquet, and tannins ever produced by this estate at this stage. A must-buy for its outstanding value and aging potential, which rivals that of very good classified growths.

About the estate:

Since the Mommeja family (Hermès) acquired the estate in 2006, the two brothers, Laurent and Renaud, have undertaken extensive renovations: first, the production facilities—including the fermentation tanks and cellars—while simultaneously restructuring the vineyard. Caroline Artaud, the technical director, has elevated the quality of the wines with the help of Éric Boissenot, a renowned winemaker.

Rated estate (2017 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

The spectacular progress made by this Listrac estate since its acquisition by the Momméja family (Hermès) has established it as one of the appellation’s leading wines. Renaud and his brother Laurent Momméja spare no effort in allowing the wine to express its full potential. The vineyard has been completely revitalized, and a state-of-the-art winemaking facility has been built. An excellent value not to be missed.

Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100

About wine:

A lovely nose of plums, spices, and dried flowers, followed by a medium-bodied palate with creamy, refined tannins. A nice acidity on the finish. It just needs a few years to develop and deliver a delightful glass.

A clear, inviting nose of blueberries. Clean and straightforward on the palate, with lovely fruit and notes of raspberry and fresh wood. The finish could be longer.
