Château Les Vieilles Pierres

Château Les Vieilles Pierres has been a family-owned estate in Lussac-Saint-Emilion for two generations. It produces an AOC Lussac-Saint-Emilion wine from a 20-hectare vineyard planted on cold clay soil. The Château Les Vieilles Pierres vineyard is planted with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.

The AOC Lussac-Saint-Emilion, vinified entirely in vats, opens with aromas of ripe fruit and empyreumatic notes. Château Les Vieilles Pierres is a well-balanced wine dominated by fruits such as prunes and blackcurrants. The majority Merlot variety gives it roundness and charm without masking the freshness and minerality provided by the Cabernet Franc. This blend makes the AOC Lussac-Saint-Emilion wine produced by Château Les Vieilles Pierres more complex.
