Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Christelle Sorge runs the family estate located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, in Soussans, alongside her sister Sylvie. Together, they are continuing the work begun by their father in fine style. The estate's 13 hectares are planted with an almost equal blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by 1% Carménère and 1% Petit Verdot. The wines are elegant and fruity, typical of the Margaux region, and improve with each passing vintage.

About wine:

This wine is of good quality. The fresh acidity gives a strong impulse to the finish, supported by fruit, spices, and tannins. This wine will age well and offers a lot of complexity and nuance thanks to a reliable name. 2023-2040

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Wine rating (2022 guide) 2 stars (Outstanding wine)

About wine:

The youthfulness and intensity of the color are reflected in the aromatic development, centered on fresh fruity and spicy notes. These aromas, complemented by noble roasted oak, linger on the palate, which is full-bodied and powerful, with vigorous tannins that attest to the great aging potential of this distinguished Margaux.

Wine rated (2021 guide) 92/100

About wine:

Although the wine has a high alcohol content, it also displays the elegance of Margaux. The firm tannins and bold structure are tempered by succulent, ripe blackcurrant flavors. It needs to age, but should not be drunk before 2025.

About wine:

Aroma of ripe black cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. Notes of gravel and mushroom. Full-bodied with firm, chalky tannins. Creamy and round. Mellow. Beautiful spice on the finish. Try from 2024.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 92/100

About wine:

Deyrem's bouquet is very refined. Pleasant and refreshing hints of raspberries and licorice wood. On the palate, the wine is fruity. It has body, silky tannins, and a structure that gives it a touch of class while supporting the aromatic expression. I find the freshness of red berries on the finish. A great success that can already be enjoyed in its youth. 2023-2036

Wine rated (2021 guide) 92/100

About wine:

Fresh, juicy, ripe red fruits with hints of coffee beans, damp earth, and tobacco are readily apparent on the nose. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and the red fruits have an earthy side. The tannins are supple and there is plenty of freshness to give this wine energy. Give it 3 to 6 years in the bottle and this wine will be even better. This is a sure bet from the Margaux appellation.
