Château Le Coteau
Château Le Coteau is one of the last family-owned estates in Margaux. It spans 12 hectares of Garonne gravel soil. Since 1993, its owner, Eric Léglise, has been committed to cultivating his vineyards with respect for biodiversity. In addition, Château Le Coteau stands out for the many flowers planted between its rows of vines. These flowers provide insects with a rich ecosystem.

In addition, Eric Léglise implements agroecological methods such as the use of compost, the shredding of vine shoots, and late mowing. Thanks to all these efforts, Château Le Coteau is home to nearly 200 animal species living on its estate. Three wines are produced on the estate: Château Le Coteau, Château Laroque , and Les Abeilles Solitaires. Each has a distinct profile, allowing you to discover the diversity of the terroir and the estate’s expertise.
